DUX SIGNS MAJOR DISTRIBUTION PARTNERS TO CAPTURE GROWING US SALES MOMENTUM

Industrial Spray Equipment Technology Company Also Reaches Into Canada and Mexico

SEATTLE, Wash. - September 25, 2006 - DUX Area, Inc. today announced the finalization of multiple distribution agreements that will expand sales of its innovative line of spray equipment throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico.

The agreements have been reached with five of North America’s most respected spray equipment distributors; EFQ of Quebec, Dove Equipment of Peoria, Ill, Dudley C Jackson of Helena, Alabama, Tape Industrial Sales of Louisville, Kentucky and Spray Equipment of Wichita, KS.

“DUX’s revolutionary new technology offers industrial distributors an unmatched opportunity for sales growth and we’re very excited that these well-respected distributors recognize the value of our product line,” said Jim Turner, National Channel Sales Manager for DUX. “Having secured early success with a direct sales force, DUX was in a perfect position to expand through distribution. With these major distributors on board, we can now reach out in a much more comprehensive way to all of North America with our high-quality finishing products.”

Dove Equipment, founded in 1967, is an employee-owned company showing “100% commitment to 100% customer satisfaction.” Dove will supply DUX products to customers in the Upper Midwest and Mexico.

Dudley C. Jackson, headquartered in Helena (Birmingham) Alabama, represents high quality equipment for automatic and manual finishing operations, and will supply DUX products to customers in the Southeastern United States.

EFQ, Inc, is headquartered in Montréal, Quebec, and also has major operations in Québec city and Toronto. EFQ specializes in spray painting equipment and accessories for the paint shop and will sell DUX products in Canada.

Tape Industrial Sales, Inc. has served the automotive and general manufacturing industries for over 20 years, offering a wide array of fluid handling and coatings applications technology. Tape will represent DUX products in Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky.

“The Dove Team is excited about the opportunity to partner with DUX to bring a new technology to market,” said Mike Ball, President of Dove. “This is not just another spray paint gun, but rather a high-tech, high-performance finishing and material application tool.”

“The DUX gun represents the first new evolution in spray guns in a very long time, and we look forward to delivering it to Canadian customers so they can remain competitive in today’s global marketplace.” said Martin Bier, Vice President of EFQ. “Together we will change the landscape of spraying.”

DUX products offer flexibility, proven cost savings

DUX products are built on advanced airflow technology originally developed to optimize air intake systems on Formula Three race cars. This has produced the first improvements to spray gun technology in decades. Features of the DUX product line include:

  • Dramatic transfer efficiency improvements which allow customers to reduce coatings usage and costs by an average of 15-40%.
  • Significantly reduced overspray which creates a healthier work environment, and allows for faster clean-up.
  • Reduced disposal costs and less use of air filters, masking materials and other consumable items containing hazardous waste.
  • An operator-friendly design – balanced, easy-to-use products that are the lightest weight in their classes.
  • Flexibility which allows one gun to be used for multiple applications and with a wide range of coating viscosities and solids content.
  • Meets or exceeds all U.S. and international air quality standards related to air spray equipment.

DUX, Inc’s three products are:

  • DUX Pressure Feed – Typically used in industrial environments where large quantities of the same coatings are sprayed throughout the day, this product receives both atomizing air and fluid through the base of the gun for better balance and ease of use.
  • DUX Gravity Feed – Used when smaller quantities of coating or more frequent material changes are required, this version of the DUX spray gun is designed with a center mounted fluid cup and a shorter barrel than all competing guns. This also allows it to fit into tight spaces while maintaining a balanced and lightweight feel for the operator.
  • DUX Automatic – Used with robotic applicators or reciprocators, this version of the DUX gun is mounted directly to automated spray equipment. Its compact design results in a nearly 25% reduction in weight over other automatic guns, resulting in less wear and tear on robotics equipment.
